On the Inmarsat BGAN Satellite Network, the AddValue Safari Terminal is a Land Vehicular BGAN terminal. The AddValue Safari also features a continuous GPS output capability that allows GPS data to be delivered in standard NMEA 0183 format via the RS232 interface. The Safari's built-in GPS module allows it to provide the tracking and monitoring that fleet management applications demand. AddValue Safari Mobile provides all you need to stay connected on a near-global scale, as well as a solution that operates on one of the world's most reliable networks.
Multiple Ways to Connect
The AddValue Safari Vehicular Mobile Terminal provides users with regular voice (4kbps AMBE+2), optional 3.1 KHz high-quality voice/fax, high-speed streaming, and standard IP data service for a variety of applications such as Internet browsing, email, and file transfer. All services, including voice/fax, data, and SMS, can be used at the same time on the terminal. 2 x RJ-11 for voice and fax, 2 x RJ45 for Ethernet LAN connections, an RS232 port for GPS output, and 4 x GPIOs for external control or signals are among the physical interfaces. All of this adds up to one of the terminal's most essential features: many options. When you don't have to worry about your global communications device performing as it should and continuing to work and deliver different ways to communicate, it's lot easier to keep operations running smoothly.
