GPSMAP 64s Handheld Marine Navigator with Altimeter and Electronic Compass
Get Your Bearings
The GPSMAP 64s Handheld Rugged Navigator includes a 3-axis tilt-compensated electronic compass that displays your heading even when you're not holding it level. Its barometric altimeter monitors pressure changes to pinpoint your precise height, and you can even plot barometric pressure over time to keep track of changing weather conditions.
Wirelessly share your waypoints, tracks, routes, and geocaches with compatible devices. Your pals may join you on your favorite trek or cache without having to wait for you to connect to your computer; simply click "send" to send your data to another Garmin handheld.
You can receive email, texts, and alerts wirelessly from your compatible iPhone 4s or later with Smart Notification. Keep in touch without having to search through your backpack for your phone.
Explore the Terrain
The GPSMAP 64s includes a built-in global basemap with shaded relief and a one-year BirdsEye Satellite Imagery subscription, allowing you to navigate anywhere with ease. You can download geotagged photographs from the Internet and navigate to them using photo navigation.
Keep Your Fix
GPSMAP 64s locates your position fast and precisely, even in dense cover and deep gorges, thanks to its quad helix antenna and high-sensitivity GPS and GLONASS receiver. The benefit is obvious: whether you're deep in the woods or just near tall buildings and trees, GPSMAP 64s can help you navigate when you need it most.
For a photo-realistic image, the GPSMAP 64s Handheld Rugged Navigator includes a built-in globe basemap with shaded relief and a 1-year subscription to BirdsEye Satellite Imagery. With Goal Zero's extensive collection of comprehensive topographic, marine, and road maps, adding new maps is simple. With 4 GB of onboard capacity and a microSDTM card slot, you can easily download TOPO 24K and 100K maps and get out on the trail, or plug in BlueChart g2 preloaded cards for a fun day on the water, or City Navigator NT map data for turn-by-turn guidance on roads (see maps tab for compatibility). Furthermore, the 64s supports Garmin Custom Maps, a map format that allows you to effortlessly convert paper and electronic maps into free downloadable maps for your device.
The GPSMAP 64s has a 16-hour battery life and supports paperless geocaching with 250,000 preloaded caches with hints and descriptions from Geocaching.com. You're not only helping the environment, but you're also increasing efficiency. GPSMAP 64s stores and displays critical information such as location, topography, difficulty, suggestions, and descriptions, eliminating the need for human input and paper printouts. The 64s is a slim and lightweight companion for all your outdoor activities.
