The NAL SHOUT sp Personnel Tracker is a ground-breaking Iridium-based smartphone. The SHOUT sp combines the SHOUT line's Iridium tracking/messaging with an Android-powered cellphone. It has Iridium's short burst data (SBD), SMS, and voice calls capabilities, as well as the ability to connect to Wi-Fi hotspots for more Android app usage. A future software update will let it to be upgraded for Iridium commercial push-to-talk (PTT) service.
A high-resolution color touchscreen and the SHOUT app are included with the SHOUT sp. The software that comes with it allows you to send voice and prepared messages. For quick emergency/alert notifications, a secured 911 button is employed. Third-party software like ATAK and SitaWare can also be installed and used on the SHOUT sp.
