The NAL Iridium SHOUT TS Personnel Tracker is a handheld satellite tracker and messaging device that is pocket-sized and low-cost. The SHOUT ts is a touchscreen version of the SHOUT nano, providing for quick access to menus and text entry using on-screen soft keyboards.
The NAL Iridium SHOUT TS Personnel Tracker is constructed with ultra-low power consumption circuits, and it can send a location report every hour for up to two months (about 1,500 reports) through the Iridium satellite network, similar to the SHOUT nano. The SHOUT ts can wake up from sleep mode to provide a location report to a command center on a regular basis. For quick emergency / alarm communications, a guarded 911 button is employed. The data is stored in a 10-byte, 30-byte, or PECOS format that is either standard or 256-bit AES encrypted.
