Standard Horizon is pleased to introduce the brand-new Standard Horizon VHF Radio HX890NB, helping you keep connected. Two scrambler systems are included into some notable new features; a 4 code CVS2500A and a 32 code FVP-42 scrambler system each assure safe communications out at sea. A built-in FM Broadcast band receiver is another new feature. When radio communication is not required, enjoy some music on the FM Radio broadcast bands. The ability to switch between day and night modes, waypoint and route navigation, and group monitor functionality using DSC Group position call are further noteworthy features. The new HX890 has also undergone extensive testing to meet the Military Standard (MIL-STD-810F) and features a new ergonomic casing design.
