The Iridium network offers the LT-4100 system 100% worldwide coverage along with voice and data capabilities. The control unit, antenna unit, handset, and cradle make up the LT-4100 system. The antenna unit is connected to the control unit by a solitary coaxial cable. The antenna unit can be mounted anywhere with a clear line of sight to the satellites using a regular coaxial cable, allowing for a spacing between the units of up to 500 meters.

The LT-4100 system can be utilized as a ship's main satellite communication system, providing connectivity for both ship-to-ship and ship-to-land communications. The LT-4100 system is the ideal satellite communication tool for any ship, providing 2 high-quality voice channels and IP-data at 22 kbps (up)/88 kbps (down).

Installation

Installation of the LT-4100 system is fairly simple. The LT-4100 system comes with everything you need to install and operate it right out of the box. Either a bracket mount or a flush mount is an option for installing the control unit. Either a pole mount (1.5′′ pipe, 38.8mm) or a pole mount (2.0" pipe, 53mm) can be used to mount the antenna unit. The control device boasts a sizable 4.3" TFT display, which allows for easy and intuitive system operation. For support and upkeep, one can use the built-in webserver.
