The Iridium 9575 Extreme and 9575 Extreme PTT satellite phone are compatible with the ASE BagDock (Handsets). The ASE BagDock was designed primarily for rapid deployment of first reaction teams in the event of natural and man-made calamities. The Bag Dock is ideal for distant or solo field workers, as well as emergency response communication systems.

The BagDock contains a magnetic mount antenna that can be mounted on the roof of a vehicle or on any adjacent structure, such as the top of a temporary structure, to provide the greatest possible "view of the sky" in order to connect with the Iridium in the most reliable manner. When using Iridium's new powerful Iridium Push-to-Talk (PTT) service, this view of the sky is important.

If necessary, suction cups within the windshield/windscreen can be used to hold the antenna inside the vehicle. The BagDock also eliminates the requirement for the Iridium charging attachment, which is attached to the phone's base. It makes the phone better in two ways:

1. It provides a convenient connection port that uses the Iridium AC or Cigar/Cigarette Charger.
2. Improves the audio by shipping with a Palm Mic (Microphone speaker)—sometimes referred to as a “Fist Mic.”

The BagDock includes a built-in battery that can increase the life of the Iridium 9575 by 12 to 19 hours (depends on usage). A fist mic/speaker is also included with the bag dock to improve the effectiveness of your PTT communication. An auxiliary audio input is included in the kit in case you need to link it into the vehicle's sound system or utilize it with an external speaker.

The BagDock comes with a tough canvas bag with easy-to-use velcro flaps that allow you to access custom/bespoke portions of the bag, such as the antenna, cabling, and so on. Both the Iridium 9575 Phone/Handset, as well as the Docking Station and Palm Microphone Speaker, are padded in the BagDock to provide impact and dust/dirt protection. It comes in a small box that stores all of the equipment for quick and easy deployment—we feel this is the most compact solution for the Iridium 9575 currently available.
