How RedPort Optimizer Satellite WiFi Device Works

The RedPort Optimizer transforms your satellite phone connection into a convenient WiFi hotspot, allowing you to connect many devices (computers, laptops, smartphones, and tablets) to a single hub. All traffic except that which passes through XGate is blocked by the Optimizer's built-in firewall. This implies that once the link is created, data will travel down the pipe at the fastest available speeds, providing you the fastest possible transfer rate. Unwanted traffic is eliminated since only XGate email and XWeb compressed web data pass through the router. This eliminates unexpected airtime expenditures resulting from unmonitored and unwanted background computer activity, such as operating system and other software updates.
