Future-Proof System with Industry Leading RF Performance

The Intellian v85NX Satellite Communications, the world's first Ku-to-Ka-band convertible antenna, may be easily converted from Ku- to Ka-band compatibility by simply replacing the center-mounted RF Assembly and Feed with a conversion kit. The reflector and radome have previously been frequency calibrated for both satellite bands, ensuring the best possible performance. The v85NX is also equipped for future NGSO constellations as well as Ka-band 2.5GHz wideband.

When compared to competing 80cm class systems, Intellian's highly efficient RF architecture gives the best performance. The lower size of the tiny 85cm antenna enables for installation on smaller vessels and access to 1-meter designed networks. It also supports a variety of BUC power sources up to 25W, allowing for a larger operational range. Commercial ships, the oil and gas industry, and mission-critical industries that require constant communication will benefit from the v85NX.

Simplified installation & enhanced AptusNX

The Intellian v85NX Satellite Communications may be installed faster and at a lower cost by combining Tx, Rx, and DC power into a single coaxial cable solution with an external dome-on connection. It also avoids the requirement for the radome to be removed during the installation process. AptusNX can be used by just plugging a laptop into the ACU; no further software is required. The AptusNX provides an installation wizard with a step-by-step commissioning guide to make setup easier, and the AptusNX may send an alert to the operator when preventative maintenance is required thanks to expanded diagnostic capabilities.

The number of spare parts has been decreased by more than 30% thanks to the modular component design. Most probable problems can now be resolved with just 13 common spare parts. As a result, its reliability is increased, maintenance is simplified, and the system's total cost of ownership is reduced.
